Originally from Staten Island, New York and growing up reading authors like Eric Jerome Dickey and Omar Tyree, D.Michelle had an early passion for reading romance and contemporary fiction.

What started out as a scene written in the ‘Notes’ app of her iPhone in January 2025 ultimately turned into This Song Is For You, a heartfelt story of two musicians bound by love, but unsure of how to navigate it.

This Song Is For You is just the first of many titles D.Michelle plans to offer. Currently residing in Brooklyn, NY, you can find her curled up with a good book - or in the process of writing one.
